Stems Florist creates beautiful floral designs, specialising in providing exquisite wedding flowers for brides and grooms in the Wiltshire area.  We will work with you to provide flowers that are just right for you.   We will listen to your own ideas but if you feel overwhelmed by the choice of flowers, designs and styles available, don’t worry!  Emma can offer suggestions and advice on which flowers are in season and colour options.  From your first enquiry to delivery of your flowers on your wedding day, Stems offers a friendly, individual service

Wedding flower inspiration

Stems has provided flowers for many weddings, in many different styles and colour themes! Over the many years that Stems has been working with wedding couples in Wiltshire and beyond, we have provided flowers in all styles from rustic and country to simple and elegant and in colour combinations from vibrant to muted shades.

Flower costs

The cost of wedding flowers depends on many things including the types of flowers used, the size and number of your arrangements and seasonal availability. If you are unsure about where to start, my price guide is an approximate indication of prices to help you with your initial wedding planning.

As a general guide, a suggested spend for wedding flowers is 10% of your overall wedding budget. This includes bridal party flowers (bouquets, buttonholes, hair flowers etc) and floral decoration for the ceremony and reception. Please note that Stems Florist has a minimum expenditure of £600.

Bridal consultations

The best way to decide on what you would like, what is possible and how much it will cost is to arrange a consultation. We will discuss flowers to complement your choice of colours and themes and from this, Emma will prepare a quote for you. To make the most of our meeting, please bring along anything that inspires you, including photos of your dress, colour swatches, fabric samples, pictures from magazines or Pinterest boards- anything that helps convey your tastes, wedding style, and what you’re envisioning for your big day. These elements are incredibly helpful in ensuring that Emma understands exactly what you’re looking for.

Wedding venues

Stems Florist has provided flowers for weddings at venues throughout Wiltshire and beyond. These have included Wick Farm, Farleigh Hungerford; Castle Combe Manor House; Orchardleigh House, near Frome; Grittleton House and Bowood Hotel Resort, to name just a few.

There are many ways to dress your venue with flowers, from opulent archways and grand table arrangements to dainty pew ends and elegant cake flowers, making your wedding venue your own on your special day. The perfect opportunity to discuss initial ideas for venue flowers with Emma would be during your bridal consultation.

Props and Containers

I have a collection of glassware, urns, plinths and props to complement your floral arrangements, available to hire when we provide your flowers. Please do let us know if this would be of interest.

On Your Wedding Day

Stems will deliver your finished flowers to your venue on the morning of your wedding in perfect condition, arranging them throughout the venue and setting up props where needed.

After confirming availability for your wedding date we’ll arrange a consultation to talk about your flowers. The best way to do this is by meeting at the Stems studio in Semington but a telephone call is also possible if that is better for you.

Emma was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish on our wedding flowers. She took the time to meet with us one-on-one to understand exactly what we wanted and even thought of the small details, like buttonholes for the page boys and flower crowns for the flower girls. Emma was incredible for our wedding in October.
